Sejarah Kontestasi Kristologi: Relasi Kuasa Otoritas dengan Kepemilikan Bapa-Bapa Gereja
Abstract
Formulasi ajaran Kristen penuh dengan sejarah kontestasi bermula dari dalam kekristenan. Kontestasi dimotori para tokoh sentral akhirnya menghasilkan polarisasi wilayah kekristenan pada abad pertama hingga keempat yang mencuatkan Kekristenan Yudaisme, Nikolaisme, Ebionitisme, Nestorianisme, Eutykianisme, Arianisme. Para sarjana sebelumnya sangat fokus meneliti isi ajaran mereka dan label sesat yang dilekatkan oleh Konsili gereja. Masalah akademisnya justru terletak di sana. Tidak banyak yang meneliti bahwa pada saat bersamaan para tokoh utama berselisih dalam posisi sebagai pemimpin gereja misalnya Uskup, Presbiter, Diaken juga pejabat kekaisaran Romawi. Posisi “enak†tersebut tidak mungkin terhindar dari kepentingan lain di luar urusan othodoksi doktrin. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif meneliti sumber literatur kuno dan publikasi terbaru dalam berbagai bentuk. Alih-alih hadir membahas isi Kristologi, pemikiran atau dogmatika Kristen, lewat tulisan ini kami menempatkan Kristologi dalam bidang ekonomi-politik Studi Sistematika dan Biblika dengan pendekatan sejarah. Kami “temukanâ€, benar ada fenomena sejarah kekristenan melibatkan jalinan kuasa otoritas sebagai tokoh utama Kristen, dalam posisi sebagai pejabat negara dan kepemilikan wilayah yang ditugaskan Kaisar sebagai Bapa-Bapa Gereja.
